Bodie Island, Nags Head and Kitty Hawk, NC

Today started out VERY windy, we woke up to the sound of flapping awnings, but by breakfast things had settled down and it turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day. After breakfast we headed up to Bodie Island lighthouse (that's me in the foreground),


and then on to Nags Head and Kitty Hawk. We had a picnic on the beach and then headed home and just kind of hung out for awhile (Dad took a nap). Then we went for a long walk on the beach before dinner of more snapper, then a fabulous sunset.


The Lord has blessed us with really great weather!

On tomorrow to cousin Linda's. I can hardly wait to see Bruce!
