Newport, Rhode Island

I got a REAL treat today, we went to Newport and they have a FANTASTIC dog walk there called the Cliff Walk which goes along the coast with the ocean on one side and these big mansions on the other side. Doggy heaven! Here are some views of the path:

Mom and Dad went to the dock area (no dogs!) and had a fabulous lunch at an outdoor restaurant on Bannister's Wharf known as the "Black Pearl." (No pirates seen!).

We also went to Jamestown, a cute town, and to Wickford, and saw the Gourmet Pastry shop that John and Sue loved so much.

We were blessed with absolutely great weather the whole time, despite forecasts for thunderstorms. Tonight we will have some great fresh fish for dinner. This place is great!
