Pemiquid and BoothBay, Maine

Monday was a drizzly day, so we just drove down through Rockport and Rockland to Port Clyde, with stops in Rockland to see the Breakwater Lighthouse and at Owl Head to see the lighthouse there:

But Tuesday was beautiful, so we went over to the Boothbay peninsula and drove up and down it looking at the little ports. Our favorite area was Pemiquid Point and the lighthouse there:

We didn't like Boothbay Harbor all that much, too built up and touristy, but the Southbay area was very nice, and we had my favorite lunch near there, Lobstah Rolls!

John and Sue Watson came in on Wednesday, so we went into Camden and walked around there. It has turned into our favorite place in Maine so far.

Thursday was Dad's birthday, so everyone went to our favorite restaurant in Camden, the Bayview, and they even had a Hot Lava "birthday" cake for Dad, with only one candle in it (he's not telling!!).

We're off to Saint John, New Brunswick today. I'm going to be an "international" dog! We're not sure about internet coverage in that area, so you may not hear from us for awhile.

A Bientot, Suzie
