Schooner Appledore, Camden, Maine
Hi Yawl (!!)
We had a beautiful day Sunday, started out a little cloudy, but we went up on Mount Battie in the Camden Hills State Park anyway, got this shot of Camden and the harbor. There are lots of big islands right offshore that you can't see because of the low clouds:

After a good long walk along the coast,

we drove up to Belfast and visited their harbor. While we were there the sun came out and we had a fabulous day from then on:

We had lunch at a little seafood stand overlooking the harbor, and had our first experience with what is now MY favorite food, lobstah rolls!
After walking around and shopping, we decided that since the weather was so good we would do a sailing excursion on one of the "pet-friendly" schooners out of Camden harbor:

Here's our boat coming in for our cruise:

Mom and I are already experienced sailors!

Here we are sailing. Can you guess who is at the helm?

"Captain" Dad!

Weather is supposed to be rainy Monday, so we will sleep late and go see some museums until it gets better.
Ta!
Suzie
